A patient sitting in a waiting room, a parent dropping a child at a coaching centre, a family inspecting a hostel before admission — all three are making a judgement about whether you are careful, and all three are reading the same evidence: the washroom, the floor, the waiting area. These premises need housekeeping to a visibly higher standard than an ordinary office, and they need the same person doing it every day. This guide covers staffing clinics, diagnostic labs, coaching centres, schools and hostels in Ranchi.
What we place — and what we don't
Worth stating plainly before anything else. We place non-medical housekeeping and attendant staff. We do not supply nurses, ANMs, GNMs, lab technicians, pharmacists or anyone requiring a clinical qualification or registration, and we will not pretend otherwise to win a booking. If you need clinical staff, a nursing agency is who you want. What we do place:
- Housekeeping — waiting areas, consultation rooms, corridors, washrooms, floors and surfaces, to a schedule rather than once a day.
- Female attendant support — helping women and elderly patients to and from consultation or sample-collection rooms, staying present where a female attendant is expected.
- Front-area upkeep — keeping the reception and waiting area presentable through the day, water and tea arrangements.
- Linen and material handling — changing sheets on examination beds, restocking consumables, managing laundry flow.
- Errands — local pickups and drops where the premises need them.
Why female staff matters in these premises
Every helper we currently place into commercial premises is a woman on a day shift. Across these four segments that is usually the requirement, not a constraint:
| Premises | Why a woman on the floor matters |
|---|---|
| Clinics & diagnostic labs | Women patients during examination and sample collection expect a female attendant present |
| Gynaecology, paediatric & IVF clinics | Almost entirely women and children; a female attendant is standard practice |
| Coaching centres & schools | Young students, and parents who ask who is on the premises through the day |
| Girls' hostels & PGs | A woman on the floor is a hard requirement, not a preference |
| Women's gyms & yoga studios | Women-only floor and changing areas |
What it costs
| Requirement | Shift | Monthly cost |
|---|---|---|
| Full-day housekeeping / attendant | 8 hours, day shift | ₹12,000 |
| Clinic session shift | Morning or evening OPD only | Quoted on request |
| Two-person cover | 8 hours each | ₹12,000 per person |
₹12,000 a month for a full eight-hour day shift, with no separate agency fee and replacement included. A lot of clinics in Ranchi run split OPD hours — morning and evening with a gap in the middle — which is a different requirement and we will quote it separately rather than bill you for a full day you aren't using. Tell us the actual session timings on the first call.

What to brief on, specifically for these premises
A helper who is excellent in an office is not automatically ready for a clinic or a hostel. The gap is almost always briefing, not ability, so be explicit about:
- 1Your cleaning protocol and materials. Which disinfectant, what dilution, which surfaces, how often. Clinics usually have a standard already — hand it over on day one rather than assuming.
- 2Waste segregation. What goes in which bin, and what she must never handle. Biomedical waste handling stays with your trained staff and your authorised disposal arrangement — say so clearly and in writing.
- 3Confidentiality. She will see patients, hear names, handle paperwork on a desk. Spell out that nothing leaves the premises, the same as you would with any other staff member.
- 4Zones. Which rooms she cleans, which she enters only when a staff member is present, and which she never enters.
- 5Escalation. One named person she reports to, and what to do if something is spilled, broken or medically urgent — which is to call your staff, not to handle it.
- 6Timings around sessions. Cleaning during an OPD queue helps nobody; agree the slots between sessions.
Two hours of proper briefing on day one is the difference between a placement that lasts two years and one that ends in three weeks. This is the single thing we would ask every clinic and hostel client to invest in.
Hostels and PGs: the extra considerations
- Residents' privacy — agree fixed cleaning hours for rooms and common areas, communicated to residents in advance.
- The weekend load is different — hostels are fullest exactly when offices are empty. Decide the weekly off accordingly.
- Kitchen and mess work is a separate role. If you need cooking, that is a cook placement — see our cook service — not a housekeeping one.
- Parents will ask. Being able to say your staff are agency-placed and Aadhaar verified is a genuine admissions advantage for a girls' hostel.
How to start
- 1Call or WhatsApp +91-6204983837 with the type of premises, area, and your actual session or shift timings.
- 2Share the task list and any protocol you already run. Clinics usually have one; hostels usually don't and should write one.
- 3Meet the helper at your premises before she starts. If she isn't right for the environment, we send another — and for clinics and hostels we would rather you were fussy at this stage than three weeks in.
We place across the Ranchi localities we serve, with the strongest coverage around Lalpur, Main Road, Circular Road, Bariatu, Kokar, Booty More, Harmu, Argora, Doranda, Kanke and Morabadi — which is also where most of the city's clinics, labs and coaching centres sit. See the areas we serve, or call +91-6204983837 and describe the premises. More on the office and commercial helper service.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you supply nurses or medical staff for clinics?
No. We place non-medical housekeeping and attendant staff only — no nurses, ANMs, GNMs, lab technicians or pharmacists. Anything requiring a clinical qualification or registration is outside what we do, and a nursing agency is the right place to go.
Can I hire staff only for OPD hours instead of a full day?
Yes. Many Ranchi clinics run split morning and evening sessions, which is a different requirement from a full day shift. Tell us the actual session timings and we will quote for that rather than a full-day placement.
Will the staff handle biomedical waste?
No. Biomedical waste handling stays with your trained staff and your authorised disposal arrangement. Our helpers handle general housekeeping, and the boundary should be written down and briefed on day one.
Can you provide female attendants for a girls' hostel?
Yes — every helper we place into commercial premises today is a woman on a day shift, which is why hostels, girls' PGs and women's clinics make up a large share of our commercial enquiries.
How much does a clinic housekeeping placement cost in Ranchi?
₹12,000 a month for a full 8-hour day shift, with replacement included and no separate agency fee. Session-only or split-shift requirements are quoted on request.
